engine lugging

My engine runs fine when cold, once it warms up to normal opperating temperatures or right at 10 minutes it starts to act up. When I am at red lights and it idles, it starts to hesitate and lug like it is going to turn off. It is only when it idles, when I start running it is fine. It has turned off on me a couple times. I have to keep my foot on the gas pedal to keep it from dying at red lights and stop signs. What could it be?

I have replaced almost all the old vacuum lines. It might be a intake leak, tell me if you find out with yours. It might really help me out. I am at an apartment now so they get mad if they see me out there all the time with the hood open. So you might find it before me. Has yours cut off too?

well its cut off just because i let it idle for too long and battery got low i have a dual alternator pulley so it doesnt recharge the battery if the rpms are too low, but i think i have the problem narrowed down to the signal from the ecu to the bac valve that controls the idle , the fix is that you have to soilder in a new transistor to the ecu curcuit board i will be doing this tommorow i will let you know how it goes, and to test if the signal is good unplug the two pin connector at bac valve the rpms should drop right away if they dont then take a 10k ohm resistor put it across the two pin connector when its unplugged. take an ohm meter and touch both sides of the two pin connector, engine off car ignition on you should see a ac voltage between 6 and 7 if its below 5v then siganl is most likely bad from ecu. now i have heard that the green test connector can some how mess this curcuit up dont know how but i will find out tommorow.
