Engine Installation

I need your suggestions and tips regarding the installation of my engine. Is it easier to remove my transmission and install the engine all together or leave the transmission and install the engine? What's the proper way to do this task?

Thanks.

There are a ton of threads on this topic. If you don't need to remove the transmission, you can leave it in.

I've removed/replaced 4 engines and I never pull the transmission.

It's really just personal preference. I've only pulled and installed engines with the transmission attached.

It's more work to remove the trans.. Though I'm told it does make it easier.

Keep in mind you'll probably have to remove more exhaust and find a way to plug the back of the trans if you pull it too.
