New engine(new rotor housings) with all new seals, Id say 5000miles. Rebuilt, with old housings, 1500-2500 miles depending on your paranoia. Dont exceed 4krpm until its above 1000 miles(2500 on a new one) and change oil at 500 and 1500, then every 2500. Gradually increase rev's until redline over the course of a few hundred miles. No cruising at a constant rpm. Ive always been told this, but am not sure why.
