NY Engine Guru's & God's - Internals for a 6 port turbo engine?

Ok I still have not gotten my car started. I am not even trying anymore.

I am sure the engine in it isn't that bad.. I flooded the engine so bad that I had a puddle under the car when I removed the lower plugs to flush it out.

I am having a engine built for my car. I am trying to figure out the best way to have a 6 port engine built with a s5 turbo set up on it..

I will tell you all my goals.. I need the Engine Guru's & God's to come out and help me.. I want a 6 port engine in my car. I plan on going with a stock s5 turbo set up with the current FMIC that is on my car. The current ECU is a stock n370.

Now the engine is not going to be put into the car for a while. I am going to try to get it set up right with no cut corners. I need to make sure I have the proper fuel, oil, spark set up. So the engine won't be dropped in until I can get all the right parts.

I want to try to stick to the stock s5 turbo set up. I want the engine to be a 6 port s5 block and run the car with the boost set to 6 pounds at all times. What I am questioning if I should do the 6 port with na rotors or t2 rotors... I was thinking about a nice bridge port too..

So now if I have a bridge ported 6 port engine with t2 internals with a s5 turbo set up, FMIC how reliable/fast would the car be?

Now vise versa if I have a bridge ported 6 port engine with na internals with a s5 turbo set up, FMIC how reliable/fast would the car be?

Should I just go with a s5 t2 engine ported?

Looking for best set up. Keep in mind I want to run the car at max 6psi boost. I do want the engine to be able to handle more boost though if I want to adjust the boost higher..

I'm not expert, but shouldn't you use S5 turbo rotors, lower compresson.... right?

In my eyes the real appeal to the 6-port turbo is cost. You don't need to get a turbo engine to have a turbo under your hood. However, the real drawback is the cost. When you cheap out on things, it generally comes back to bit you in the ***. That's what I see as the biggest problem with these 6-port turbos, people try to band-aid them together and they pop. Using an N/A ecu for one is retarded on any turbo engine for a few reasons. You should be running a full TII ecu/harness at MINIMUM. And aftrmkt ems would be better.

That being said, with an aftmkt ecu the rotors won't make a **** of difference. You'll need to be more careful with the tuning, but it n/a rotors in a TII engine are done all the time for various reasons. You've got to pay to play and an ems is the cost of admission

By the way - I have a set of S4 6-port plates in PERFECT condition. I've never seen nicer used plates - EVER. Also have a set of perfect condition S4 n/a rotors as well. Hit me up PM if you're interested

You could use either of the sets of rotors t2 or n/a. Just make sure that what ever set you use you get a good tune. Tuning on turbo cars is everything, the make or break. I looked at doing my s4 n/a to turbo, but just bought a jspec turbo swap instead. I am still pouring money into it.

when you start dealing with s5 turbo parts (like s5 T2 rotors etc) **** gets expensive fast. you will need a modified T2 LIM (Japan2LA sells it) for a 6 port motor, which is adding cost. Then you will guaranteed need an ECU with timing control. I wouldn't even run just an N370 if you have 9.7:1 rotors. It's not safe enough. Some guy just posted up a thread here a week ago about his high compression 6 port turbo that he ended up blowing up on a stock T2 ecu I believe. You will need an Rtek 2.1 with IMO carefully tuned rpm vs boost timing maps.

You will also struggle mightily to keep boost to 6psi unless you have stock exhaust on it. Even with porting the wastegate it will be hard to keep it that low.
