engine building FAQ

does anyone know of a step by step guide to building the engine up..

not an actuall rebuild per se, more of like...

i have the engine in short block form, and i need a guide to re-attach all the stuff, to make it ready to drop in....

i follow lists, and guides really well, so i think if i had an actuall faq or something that walked you thru the steps of putting the engine back together i could get this done in a few days work....

i have the haynes, and the FSM, but they both are kinda vague in some aspects....

im really looking for a step by step guide to do this...

if anyone has spotted one or knows of a site that has this info on it, i would really appreciate it!
thanks
=-dustin

and i did search, but to no avail

Have you tried www.rotaryresurrection.com yet? In Kevin's TECH link, I think he has a longblock-to-shortblock and back writeup (not positive, but check it out anyhow)

i might be able to use that as a rough guide, but its for NA engines, and i would have to follow it in reverse...which wouldnt be a big deal, but theres some stuff that wont be covered as far as the turbo stuff, and thats for sure something i need
