i need some help, i own a 89 convertible. i recently replaced the engine with a rebuild that was ported and polished. it runs and has a steady idle but when you give moderate to wide open throttle it bogs out. the only way to gain speed is gradually with minimal throttle. i can not enjoy this machine like i had before. please help.

 

could be a number of issues:

Bad grounds
Fuel pump
Throttle positioning sensor
Alternator
Fuel filter (sock filter)
Clogged Cat
