engine bogging down

car runs pretty good for havin 150k but as im going thru a gear it seems to bog down.seems like some baffle or valve is closing or something.i put some seafoam in the gas tank and intake but didn't seem to change.the only gauge that works on the car is the speedo(i know sad im workin on it) so i don't know what rpm it does it at if i guessed prob 3k or so. bogs for about 1500 rpm then seems to clear up...any ideas for me to start at? puttin plugs wires on this weekend thanks

Do a search on '3800' rpm hesitation. A good writeup there about that issue. Sounds similar to what you have. Good luck.

I don't have an answer, but I think I can relate. (I don't think it's like the 3800 hesitation...that happens under acceleration.)
For me, it happened while in cruise-control... the car just went limp, and then a few seconds later it recovered. I also had it happen while going up a long incline driveway...both during low steady rpm... Afterwards, when I was looking the engine over with a friend, he thought he felt one of my connectors wasn't sitted enough. I also changed the plugs and wires, last week. It's too early to tell if it's fixed or not.
