Engine bay noise when key turned to 'On'

When I turn my key to the 'on' position I hear a small humm resonating from the engine bay. I tried to track it down but couldnt pin point it. IS it the fuel pump? or something else?

That'll be the BAC valve, which controls idle speed. It's an oscillating solenoid that varies airflow by varying duty cycle.
