Question Engine bay ground connection

Just below the vin number next to the wiper motor, there is a ground connection spade. Should a ground wire be connected to it, and what should it attach to, or is this for an option my car didn’t come with?

Thats one of your main engine grounds. There should be a 10awg wire attatched to it.

And that ground wire, IIRC, just goes to a bolt on top of the tranny, all by itself.

Definitely replace it, but not with the original wire, use a big fat bastard. I used 8G left over from my amp install.

Actually, it's not a true "main" engine ground.&nbsp Ever tried to crank your starter with the real main engine ground pulled?&nbsp It's enough current to FRY that small gauge wire.

There should be a black ground wire that connects somewhere on top of your intake manifold (doesn't matter where).
