Engine bay cleaning
Started cleaning the engine bay out yesterday, removed the old intake and the fan and fan shroud. E-fan is from a ford escort, fits perfectly. Drove it around afterwards, actually stays a little cooler then before. No performance difference (that i can tell) just easier to work in the engine bay now. Yes that is a cheap air cone from Autozone that's just stuck onto the end of the Mass Air Sensor. I stuck another small cone on the end of the tube coming from the Air Pump.

Today I was going to remove the Oil lines from the OMP and bolt the holes just, as well as start the removal of the emissions stuff (rats nest) but it looks like it's going to rain today and i do not have a shop...looks like I'll be working on it next weekend then.

If the OMP is working - leave it, unless you want to premix for other reasons.
I'd loose the air pump & ACV next.
Wiring an electric pump for the VDI & aux ports on an S5 is easy.

I'd like to do the electric pump just to get rid of more clutter, but if I take it off, i've been told that i have to had a dual pully to my alternator because the single belt isn't enough to turn the water pump. For the moment it'll stay and i'll make it just run the VDI and the aux ports.
The OMP works, the copper lines do not and it's spraying oil everywhere in the engine. Premixing just seems like the better option. The engine seems to run smoother with premix, but maybe that's just me.
