Engine?
Hey all,
I have a problem, my 7 isn't running anymore. My bro took it and he drove it overheating for 10 miles or more. He stopped, let it cool down a little, and then threw water in the radiator. Well the stupid *** didn't wait long enough cuz he cracked the block. I need a new block can anybody help. Its only been a couple days and I miss my car already.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
UH, well, you'll need another engine or a rebuild. HE didnt crack the block though, this is a piston engine term.
When he got it hot, even in the first minute, he crushed the coolant seals. These are basically big rubber bands that divide coolant flow from the combustion chamber, roughly equivaltn to a piston engine's headgasket. Whether or not he added cold water too quickly, the damage was already done from just getting it near teh H the very first time. These engines are made of aluminum and iron plates sndwiched together, with 4 sets of collant seals between each layer. These plates expand at different rates, so teh seals get crushed with extreme heat, adn are not repairable without a full rebuild.
FWIW i can do a rebuild for as little as $1000 if youre interested.
