their polyurethane bushings give the car a better feel in the curves but also make the ride rougher. That's a bit of a downside but if you don't care about the ride comfort it's no problem. The other negative.. is that installation is a pain in the *** if you don't have the right equipment to do it. I had to dish out over $300 to have it installed, and even the machanic took like 3-4 hours to do it. Looking back at the amount spent and the handling and the roughness of ride attained... I wouldn't do it again.

300 installed for the whole master bushing kit?

I plan to do this for the simple fact that the car is old and the bushings are going to ****.

Corksport sells the ES bushing kit, for about $100...
I think this is something everyone should look into. No matter how much money you put into aftermarket parts, if you are riding around on worn out suspension bushings, the car is going to feel, well like a car that has worn suspension bushings..

good idea. I need to do this, also. My engine and tranny mounts are gone. shifter bushings are gone. suspension isn't far behind, I'm sure.

If you have a Series V car (89-91), you're stuck with the OEM endlink bushings which use pillow ball style joints instead of replaceable bushings.

I got the Prothane Bushing kit from nopi.com for $65.

What are the differences between the Prothane and the Energy Suspension bushing kits?

For the record: The Prothane kit does NOT include the bushings for the S4 links.

I would say the best reason to go with ES is that they have the black bushings. These are impregnated with grafite. Supposed to cut down on noise.

To me that is worth the extra money.

that would be appreciated. I'm assuming a machine press is needed, but if it can be handled another way, I'd love to hear it, personally.
