Emissions Removal on S4 GXL. Help!

Hey guys, I'm about to take my airpump off on my S4 GXL. I know i'll need block off plates and the like, can anyone point me to a store online that sells these?

Also, if I'm taking the airpump off, do I HAVE to remove anything else at the same time? or can I just take the emissions off piece by piece?

When you remove the airpump, you actually need to do a LOT. You need a dual-alt pulley or yoohoo belt (search), you must remove the cat very soon (without the air pump, it will blow out in very short time).

well, a highflow cat is still a cat, and I think they do have the air supply lead pipe on the side

Not to revive an old thread, but if it's a generic high-flow cat it's reversible, but you have to reverse it if you're getting rid of the air going into it. Some cats can be setup to run with an airpump or without an airpump, and if I remember correctly, it has to do with which side of the catalyst the combustion takes place.

So answer is, can a high flow cat work without the airpump? Yes

Do you need to remove it? Yes, even if you just reinstall it backwards. (If reinstalled backwards, the air port has to be welded or capped, as well)
