Emissions removal? or not...

I was thinking about removing the emssions on my 13BT... but I recently just swapped it and am waiting for a new starter. Meaning... I haven't yet started it. You think it would be good to just leave emssions on for now until I get it started? or would it be alright to do?

Alright... I just wasn't sure if it would affect the starting of the engine.

It will only affect starting the engine if you mess something up. So as long as you are aware of everything you are doing go for it.

I'm gonna throw in a futile "no" here. It's just less hassle to stay legal and clean. And more "legit", maybe, or at least nicer smelling. Okay, now everything else you find is gonna (accurately) tell you how you can remove your emissions without worry. Oh well.

If you remove the cat make sure you take the same precautions necessary when making any upgrade to a turbo exhaust. A search or someone who owns a turbo can tell you more.
