Ok, been doing research about getting my car to pass emissions since im 99% sure once I get my 7 the DMV is gonna want me to pass emissions... So after my research, I've concluded that this is what I need to do... Just asking you guys if Im making any wrong assumptions here...

1) ACV
2) Air Pump
3) Main Cat (3" ??)
4) Welding flanges onto main cat...
5) Taking the newly welded cat and replacing my Downpipe with it?

Anything else Im missing here? I'm also guessing im gonna have to remove the block off plates as well when i reinstall the acv / air pump. Current mods in my siggy

 

Should pass. Add some alcohol to the tank before you go through

 

bump... someone said that he dosent know how Ill connect the ACV to the microtech? egh someone help me out ;x

 

You could always just pay some local shop that does inspections to pass you without having to worry about prepping your car for emissions testing.

Just go to the trashiest place that does inspections and offer the guy some extra cash and chances are they will do it. Most times even without extra cash because they dont care, but just to make sure.
