"Emergency Brake" light comes on for no reason!

If anyone has info on this, please post:

When my car goes past 2000 rpm, the emergency brake light in the panel lights up. It stays on after I shift, but once I release the clutch, it turns off. I have noticed that this only happens in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. ANy help is appreciated. Thanks!

The only time my emergency brake light came on when the brake wasn't engaged was when my brake fluid was low. Have you checked that lately?

The brake fluid level is above the minimum line, but not by much. Think this could be a problem?

I think the clutch uses some of the brake fluid to get its pressure. Don't quote me on that. But maybe it is just low enough that when you clutch it makes the light come on.
I would go ahead and fill it up, then drive around braking and clutching and see if it comes on anymore.
Good Luck. Hope I helped.

Clutch reservoir is separate (but does use DOT brake fluid). Fill the brake reservoir to the top line, that'll fix it
