I have two electrical problems in my 1987 NA, first the horn doesn't work, second, on occasion I get some kind of short circuit or something and my horn honks, and my clock disappears. Is this a cold solder point problem, or should I get this looked at by professionals?

 

Resolder the cpu. This url http://www.teamfc3s.org/main.shtml It worked for my horn. I trouble shot the circuit down to the cpu on my car. Used the wiring diagrams out of the factory manual that is free on http://www.iluvmyrx7.com well not really. I had bought a 75 buck manual prior to finding it free on the site above. The 87 manual diagrams are superior to the 88 on line.
