Can anyone help?
I have 1987 series 4 with the electrical gremlins, about to go the cpu change over.
This fault is bugging me, door ajar light remains on, both door lights also remain on.
Checked door switches, earth points, display module joints have been previously resoldered, wiring looms looks ok.
Any clues what is causing this, or what else would cause this to occur?

does your dome light work??

 

Yes works in the 3 positions, but if left in the right hand position the light will not go out when the door is closed.
All other buttons/features in dome switch group work as expected.
