I have a 89 Mazda that loses it charge if I lock the doors. The alarm light goes on but no alarm. As long as I don't lock the doors the car seems to hold a charge. Anyone have similiar problems and have been able to fix.

The car is a 89 rx convertible. Bought it 6 months ago as project car, just got done restoring top.
