electrical problem

i just replaced my 86 TII's turbo with an S5 one, had the car idleing, turned it off installed fcd now it won't start. i tried removing the fcd but that didn't help is it possible that i fried my boost sensor or something would that do it? It isn't flooded out i checked for that. It catches and idles low with the help of the starter but as soon as i let go of the key it dies. I'd apreciate any thoughts at all. thanks.

if you wired up the FCD wrong its very possible that you damages the boost sensor, or popped a fuse, or burned the ECU...

try starting it with the boost sensor disconnected. if it starts then your sensor is fucked up.
