Angry electrical problem

I searched but I didnt find anything that helped my situation. I was looking through my wiring system and relays to see why my foglights keep blowing the fuse in the kickpanel when i turn them on and then after talking to bejbis I came to the conclusion that it's probably that the bulbs are higher than the stock wattage. Therefore i'm going to rewire my lights. Anyways so thats finished, but now my damn stereo won't come on and my clock wont come on either. I've checked all of the fuses and they're fine, I haven't pulled the HU though to check its fuses. Any ideas?

blown room fuse probably.

How did you check the fuses? You know you can't tell sometimes just by looking at them. You need to use a multi-meter.

what size bulbs were you using??... I doubt that is the cause of them blowing. if you rewired them and now it doesn't blow. it was probably something in the wiring that you replaced.

if they were big enough to blow the fuse. they will probbly just melt the plastic lenes very soon.

?

I'll check the fuses w/a multimeter but I am POSITIVE it was blowing the fog light fuse due to the burnt 2 piece strip inside instead of the one strip that is normally in there. I dont remember the wattage. I wired some H3 bulbs in there, instead of H3C's. Could a bad ground on the H3's be the cause?
