electrical issue's

electrical issue's

okay so yesturday i blew out my main fuse in my fc. a friend of mine let me take his because his car dosnt run....it started my car and what not. but my radio wasnt workin....this was lastnight so this afternoon i started lookin around to see if i could find the problem. turns out the fuse he gave me was a 80 and mine was a 100....and im not too sure but could this be why my radio isnt workin??? on and my open door stays on but it is very faint...its times like this i wish i had a base model +electrical issue

It takes a lot to blow a 100 Amp fuse, like a dead short. Your dead radio is not because of using an undersized fuse. Look at it this way: if a 100 Amp fuse blows, and an 80 Amp does not, whatever blew the fuse is no longer shorted, and no longer working. However, the radio is on a seperate small fuse that would blow way before the main.
