Question electrical help

ok guys, i have a 66 bug that im totally swapping out the motor for a 91 n/a 13b. i got everything i need to get the motor to fit in and bolt up and all the cooling stuff done, i need help with wiring... i know none of you are probably farmiliar with vw wiring, but its simple... like 20 wires is the entire harness. anyways, im looking for something maybe like a how-to, or somthing, on what wires from the ecu to the wiring harness to the motor i can cut off and plug up. im not looking forward to putting the entire harness and everything in my bug for this to work. im mainly looking just to get the non emission engine to run, basic stuff. people have the setup for a subaru motor with entire harness and cpu with everywire exept like 6 of them, capped off and this bug runs great! but noone knows anything about the rotarys (atleast anyone i know) so ya.. any help like that... any techno-guru's please assist!!

i would think the easiest way would be to swap the whole engine harness into the bug, and splice in the wires from all the bugs body harness to powered wires as needed..did that make any sense?

yes.. it did, i was looking over the whole setup last night thinkin the same thing... but i was wondering what wires i could remove from the harness, so i dont have a gaglefvck of wires that im not using.. im into crotch rockets, and this car used to be my daily driver a couple years ago, and now im wantin to get it back on the road to smoke some civics... i was really lookin for somthing like, what exactly do i need to get this motor running good, (not running in "safe mode" whatever that is, or idle rough or run crappy ya know) with the wires. like which ones could i remove, i posted another thread before askin kinda the same question, but it was more for the car not the wiring... i can get everything i need to bolt right up to my car, i just cant figure out the wiring for it. i was possibly thinking of running the ac, so im not sure if i wanna actually cut the harness or just tape up the connections(plug them or whatever?) just incase i need them later? jeese i know this is gonna be a pain. if i coulda found a 12a carb'd motor, this thing would already be in and running, why did i have to want the FI? lol... well any help would be very much appreciated... even some websites (i'v looked up the faq's and their really helpful, but not really helpful with my application, i pretty much have to use a little bit of this with a little bit of that to get it workin)... help! thanks guys
