Electrical Glitch
In need of some help with an electrical glitch.....drivers side window does not go down even though the switch works (tried it in another 7 and it worked)..also door ajar light on idiot cluster stays on and clock stops working when car is shut off but starts back up at 1:00 once car is started.....problem started after the installation of a new window regulator and switch.....I had to use direct voltage to move window up and down so that it could be adjusted for bolting to regulator...any ideas would be appreciated.....thanks

Wow! That is a glitch!
This all started together, from replacing the window motor?
It almost sounds like a ground issue in the ground to the door, but I don't know what that would have to do with the other two problems.
Check the voltage output of the switch when installed in the door. Trace the intended path to find the break or failure. These problems are more easily solved when you have access to the car and a multimeter than over the internet.
The clock and door ajar issue is strange, but I would check my fuses.
Maybe Hailers can help more.
