Electrical connector problem
Well I have found a new problem. This connector by the drivers left side hood release up under and it has wires disconnected from it and the connector itself is burnt. Un real what the last owner did. Now Im tring to figure out what to do take a look at the pics.
Im guessing this is why my room fuse keeps blowing as well as why i dont have 12v power from the b/r wire for my radio. So should I go to the junkyard and cut out what i need? I dont think I should reuse the burnt connector. What do yall think other than this is f ed up.

Wish I knew what to call it. Ive been looking at the FSM and I think its either the front harness connector or the connector between front and instrument panel harness. Either way this is a 86 gxl if this helps. I was hoping to just cut the whole connector out and splice a new one in but I havn't got to the junkyard yet and I dont wanna cut it out my other 7.

I know you said get some wire colors but when I went out to do that I noticed both the connectors there have wires detached. Someone splices new wires in and it looks like it goes to the right spots. One wire looked a lil corroded so I might try to fix that but this is a hell of a mess. Some new pics of the connectors. And 2 from my other 7.
These next 2 pics are how its supposed to look. (from my other 7)
So Im thinking there might not be much I can do. How much do yall think this would cost to fix at a shop. And would they even be able to help?
