How about we start building/buying these things from where the heck ever these people get them and sell them to Honda Ricers?

It doesn't matter that you're using AC invertors, because you're getting it from the DC source (the output of the alternator) to start with! So all you've done is add another inefficiency (invertors are very inefficient, hence the heat), meaning it'll require even more current than the amount calculated above.

Please keep in mind that people with a shitload more knowledge than anyone here have tried this and decided it was a waste of time.

Does anyone have any objections to putting one on a seperate intake path and not inline. By no means am I implying that I support this product's ability to function, just tossing ideas out there, I think someone mentioned it before. You could run it off a TPS or even ignition switch and make it work at a set throttle position or rpm. I dunno, prove me retarted :-P

This was thrashed out in Peacekeeper's airpump threads. You can't run this any way but inline. It has to pressurise the entire intake to make any difference, plus all air entering the engine must be metered by the AFM or the engine will run lean.

Can we please put these stupid things in the BS bin where they belong?!
