electric fan not working

hey guys i'm trying to figure out why my car when it idles it tends to overheat... not to the point where the idiot lights goes on... but it still overheats the thermostat is brand new and there was a tiny crack on the radiator but i fixed it, and MY ELECTRIC FAN DOES NOT WORK so... i'm tihnking that's the reason why it overheats because when i drive it on the freeway or just move it around the tempeture goes down not to the normal operating tempeture but still down, i replaced the fan switch because it was broken with a new one and also checked the fan it works, and checked fan's relay, so wut else do i check oo and i checked fuses too, so ya.... how do i feix it... please help me i'd really appretiate it thanks

i wouldn't drive around with it not working like that ><, worse comes to worse, i would wire the fan straight to the battery as a quick fix until you dig deeper and figure out the problem if you really need to drive around. (don't forget to unplug it when your car is off).

You have a brilliant future as a diagnostician ahead of you.

Exactly how is this fan wired in?
