Electric fan and Nitrous

Has anyone gained power by replacing the stock belt driven fan with a electric fan? Did it affect cooling any.

Also has anyone put nitrous on a N/A. I did and for some odd reason my car feels faster with out the nitrous on. Whats up

yeah, electric fan free's up more HP, and i dont think it really effects how rthe engine is treated. And as for your nitrous, I've never heard of that, but maybe you installed it wrong, I know a guy who did that, and his engine fried....

Rancid 7, if there was one thing a regret buying for my RX-7 it would be the V-force. I couldn't tell a difference at all.

Yellow RX-7, it's a Nitrous Express system and right now the 50 jets are in. I've checked everything over and I can't find anything wrong but something has to be wrong.

it *IS* possible to get bad fills of NO2,I used to work at a large autoparts store. I have personally seen filled tanks filled that wouldn't work. BAD GAS.

How many tanks have gone through? If this is your first then I would take it back to the place you got it from and get them to re-fill the tank. Who knows, your probably not the only one that had it happen, and it won't cost you anything.

Electric fans are nice, it helps the engine to stay at a more consistent temperature, less drag on the motor, and alot quieter.

yeah, with nitrous you need to get all new fuel pumps, and use 92+ octane gas. nothing but 92+
