I hear fiero ones are good, and fit well
Lucky me, I've got two of them.
should be available cheap in a junkyard.

Try and get one off an auto tranny car, they are better.

I just got my Fiero fan Tuesday. Hooked it up to a power inverter, and JESUS that thing flows! $20 for a temp. sensor, and I'm running cool fer' sure.

Think about this route before you consider the $180 Black Magic solution.

I got my fan from someone off of www.fieroforum.com for $25, can't beat it. Go to the Mall section and throw up a post, or check people with them already for sale.

Well the shroud is what makes the black magic fan the choice for everyone. More even cooling along the whole radiator or something. Still, Fiero fan. Great flow, Shroud, nifty blade setup, and once again only $25 shipped :-D

Now I just need to figure what kind of temp sensor to get...

I just finished installing my black magic fan i bought from summit. As long as your within a certain distance from one of the summit shops you get it in two days I did. Look on the back of a catalog for shipping times. Yes it is a costly fan (~196 after handling charge). I didnt want to fuss with seperate sensors or switches or making shrouds. The fiero fans do flow alot, owned two fieros always overheated but not because of the fan (late fan turn on, no motor air). But there is no way it will out flow a black magic. To me it was worth the money. You will have to make your own mounting brakets the ones with it are to big. It has that nice after market look flows ALOT and actually is not that loud. I even have it wired so it can turn on at anytime. Evertime i turned of the car it only takes about 20-30 secondes for it to finish cooling the Radiator and it turns off (set at a real low setting like 190F). Just trust me the exrtra $100 is worth the less time trouble and look of the black magic. I was always told to do it the right way the first time.

P.S. Just for the record the main reason i went to the electric is because i removed the air pump and even with a new belt on the Alt it would still squeal a little everyone in awhile when the engine was hot and the clutch fan was spinning. ALL fixed now and the engine sounds and feels nicer reving up.
