Elecrtical problem

For some strange reason both door-lights (on each side) remain on when I turnoff the car. Even when it's on the lights are on. I checked the little pins for the doors (the ones that check if the doors are closed) and they __seem__ alright... could there be another reason? Right now I have to take out the lights' fuse because I don't want to risk running out of juice..

What's the matter with my baby???

those lights come on whenever the doors are open. so either those pins are screwed up or the wires going to them.

You have a short to ground between the lamps & the door switches

Those lights are tied into the dome light circuit, so if they are on, your dome light would be on as well (unless you turned off the dome light at the dome light).

Fix the car right, instead of micky mousing it but just cutting wires. Just cutting wires is probably how you got this problem in the first place.
