I wanted to check where the EGR valve is located. Is it under/near the upper intake manifold that says "13B Injection Mazda" on the drivers side? I am wondering if I have to disable it now that my air pump is disabled. I still have a cat installed, but will be removed shortly.

its bolted down to the center iron on the top. so its under the lower intake manifold directly on top of the engine. you could delete it is you want with the delete plate.
