EGI INJ fuse keeps blowing
My EGI INJ fuse keeps blowing, I'm assuming it's a short somewhere in the harness. What does the EGI INJ 40 amp fuse go to? I thought I saw somehwhere that the harness from the fuse goes to the coils, but I don't think that's the only system fused by it.

1. Pull both plugs off your MainRelay. Large relay near the Trail coil assy. two electrical plugs. Now see if the fuse blows.
2. If it does not blow.....put the MainRelay back in. Now pull the small white, two prong/socket plug off the Lead Coil assy. Does the fuse still blow??? If it does, now disconnect the plug at the Trail coil assy. Still blow??? About all that's left is the power going to the fuel injectors.
The other fuse...EGI COMP (30A) feeds all those solenoids on the rack. The EGI INJ just does the above.
This is a 87 schematic. Your car is similar. Its the 40amp fuse in the schematic that goes thru the MainRElay and makes its way to the coils assy's then to the solenoid resistor pack on a early 87. Your car has no solenoid resistor...but it feeds directly to the fuel injectorsl.

Looks like the engine overheated the harness for the injectors and created a short. I'll be either swapping or fixing the harness shortly. Thanks for all the help!
