I have a question about my fuel injection. My 87' rx-7 seems to be hesitating but will pick up power in spurts. The spurts are rare and seems to be electrical ones. It is like I have a short. Not all of my electronics work on the car but then they will and the car will become a whole lot faster all of a sudden. What does your EFI fall into electricaly whise. I was wondering if they are really clogged or just not working right? The electrical thing may just be a coincidence. Any suggestions? I ran some cleaner through them but it did not do much. It had some nasty old 2 year gas in it and It could have screwed them up. Can you phsically clean them or test your system?

You could easily have a couple of different things going on. The injectors could have a problem or you could be having intermittent grounding. These cars seem to have some difficulty with poor grounds. You might make sure the battery terminals are clean and the grounds to the engine and body are solid. If it's the injectors you'll need to take them out and send them to RC Engineering or another company that cleans and "rebuilds" them.
