ECUs for 2nd Gen????

Can anyone give me information or first hand experiences with aftermarket ECUs for a 2nd Generation 13b N/A? I know MD Racing has a chip but they seem very hard to get a hold of. Who else modifies the factory ECU or should I be looking for a full replacement?

I think MD is the only chip forum memebers have tried. Many people have asked about JET, but nobody has come forward yet to admit owning one.

I would recommend a full replacement EMS because a chip cannot be programmed to your particular car. Yes, an EMS is expensive, but it is a much better deal for your money because it not only gives you more performance like a chip, but also adds a lot of hp by getting rid of the horrible stock airflow meter, and gives you an AFR readout, as well as other datalogging and diagnostic readouts, and some systems even have boost control. The only reason that I can think of for a simple chip is if you are racing the car, and the rules only allow a chip. Otherwise, I think that the money is better spent elsewhere.

BTW, there are 4 new EMS units hitting the market this year which would be great for a 2Gen:
AEM Race
Electromotive TECIII
Haltech E11
Wolf 3D 4.0

Venom, from what I understand, and I could be wrong, makes an ECU for N/A RXs. You should be able to find em on the online catalog for nopi. I think they're like 500 bucks. But like I said, I could be wrong cause I'm not sure.
