ECU trouble?
I instaled a used ecu and airflow meter and now the car won't start. Then I put the originals back in the car and it still won't start. Does anyone know what I did.

You're describing a no-start condition which can be caused by a LOT of problems.  If you have no clue, I'd suggest finding a mechanic locally to do the work for you.  It'll take MONTHS trying to walk you through trouble-shotting procedures to make sure everything is working.
At the very least, I hope you have a FSM in front of you...
Dunno what "FSM" means?  http://fc3s-pro.com/abb.html

The car started before I put the Ecu and airflow meter in, but it reved slow and wouldnt rev past about 3500. Last night I put new plug wires on(im not sure if this was the problem) but after cranking for a while I did get it started it idled to which it wouldn't do before but it was at 3000. It still has the slow rev problem and it does't rev past 3500. It backfires alot and after I shut it off I was unable to start it right back up. I didn't want to keep it running to long because there was alot of white smoke.
This all started with a vac leak and after fixing that more and more problems have came up on my 87 TII (ported with 3mm). Then I was hurrying and hooked my battery up backward which blew some fuses and ruined my trailing coil. I thought I fried my ecu and thats why I got the used one. o and after I installed the ecu and it wouldnt start I tore down the motor and found the orings on my secondairies were bad so I put in my 720's that I just purchased.
That is where I am now any suggestions would help
thanks
