It was obvious enough for Mazda engineers to decide to put it in the Wiring Diagram section of the FSM to be distributed to every county that has Mazda-trained technicians.

It's pretty clear to me.

dont treat me like some idiot noob. i know what the schematic shows and originally answered the question. if you say 'wire side' and some noob has a ecu and wire harness and disconnects the 2, in the left hand is the ecu in the right hand is the wires. OH NOW THE WIRES ARE IN MY RIGHT HAND THAT MUST BE THE WIRE SIDE. alls i was saying is someone might get confused.

..go away know it all.

You'd have to be a bit thick to think that since we're talking about which side of the connector is being shown. That point was made pretty clear, and being an "ECU noob" just means you're inexperienced, not an idiot that can't follow simple instructions.

oh i didnt know there wasnt a connector on the wires in my figurative right hand. it doesnt look anything like the connector on the ecu in my figurative left hand either.

yah it was made clear, and i was the one who made it clear. there was no need for you to post here in the first place, besides trying to correct me, which didnt need to be done cause its not set as a standard through the whole FSM. my explanation was plenty so no need to show up with your knowitallness.

Well since I answered the OP's questions, and the question you answered was directed at me and was about my drawing, and then you made an incorrect claim, I can't think of any reason why I shouldn't post here.

You just don't seem to get this. It is a standard through the FSM. Whether you're looking at the connector or the component the connector plugs into, you're always looking in the same direction, i.e. at the socket on the component, or at the "wire side" of the connector (the side with wires poking out the back). Whether you're looking at my ECU pin-out diagram above (from the FSM Fuel Systems chapter) or the ECU connectors in the FSM wiring diagrams, the layout shown is the same because both are looking in the same direction. Get it?

I think it's funny that someone with 800 posts here, doesn't realize the authority and supremecy of NZ... You'd be wiser to drop it. NZ has 15,000 posts for a reason.
Think about how many people he's helped. Instead of arguing with him, you should be thanking him for correcting you.

There is no such page. The intro to the wiring diagrams explains how to read the connector pin-outs, and the same standard can be applied to all electrical connections in the FSM unless it's specifically shown differently.

i didnt direct anything at you. i was answering JustJeffs questions...
Go read my post again. JustJeff's original question about how to read the ECU pin-out was directed at me.

and its not like you drew that harness hah.
If you're referring to the labelled ECU pin-out diagram lined above, actually I did.

Post count means little. There are far more knowledgeable people than me with far fewer posts.

oh i see, no such page.

Go read my post again. JustJeff's original question about how to read the ECU pin-out was directed at me.
it looked to be directed to the whole forum to me, and quoted you for reference. then he thanked me for answering the question CORRECTLY.

yes i am and i said 'harness' didnt i. which you did not draw, its right out of the FSM so no need to act like you made some complicated drawing.

Post count means little. There are far more knowledgeable people than me with far fewer posts.
nice recovery

Never said there was. The FSM also follows the standards of writing text from left to right, and numbered each page beginning from 1, but I can't show you the page explaining those either. Looks like you'll just have to use your common sense.

Yeah cause a box with some letters and numbers in is hard to draw... Judging by how often it gets reposted by me and others, a lot of people have found it very useful. I don't recall you ever contributing anything similar.

nice recovery

A little bump / ?

Is this one of the grounds you can tap into for the secondary injector problem?

PhotoBucket Link

The top left wire is solid black and goes into the grey one.
The bottom left is black with brown spots.

They lead to the smaller plug on the outside of the ECU. To try and illustrate:

The Grey wire is for the Oxygen Sensor which does tap into one of the ground wires. You might want to try adding a second ground to the Boost/Pressure sensor or reground the ground wires at the ECU a bit closer to the ECU. Pins 2C, 2R, 3A and 3G are all ground where 3 of the 4 are Black. There are 4 wires at the Boost/Pressure Sensor. They are Black/White, Brown/Red, Brown/White and a fourth wire which I believe is Brown based and this is the ground wire.. The first three wires listed have voltage of various levels w/key to on but the ground should not. Reground this wire to the chassis.

What sort of swap? Non turbo to Turbo? Did you use a turbo wire harness on the engine? Or use the stk non turbo harness on the engine?

I always enjoyed NZCONVERTIBLE posts/threads.

Having trouble determining which wire is what. (I have trouble reading the wiring diagrams)
What I have is...

Black wire with white stripe.
Brown Wire with Red stripe.
Brown wire with white stripe.
Brown wire with black stripe.

I'm just trying to triple check before I ground it out.
