ECU Connection - TII v. '88 Vert?

I'm looking at this HKS harness as a means of connecting a piggyback AFC to my '88 vert. I don't want to cut any existing wiring to install the AFC.

http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=747

Are there significant pin differences between the '88 Vert ECU harness connection and the TII ECU harness connection that would not allow easy use the HKS intermediate connector?

Thanks.

Hey John,

Looking at the FSM for a 1988, and comparing pages 4A-30 - 4A-32 and 4B-31 - 4B-33, the plugs are the same and the pinouts even control the same things - you might want to double check that fact though. Although, it seems you just need to know that it would plug into the N/A ECU, which it will.

So it seems as if that intermediate connector should work just fine for what you are intending, since I know you don't want to cut the stock harness.

Now, on to more important things. How have you been? Do you not respond to my email or PMs anymore?

all the stuff that you need to tap for an AFC are the same between n/a and T2. only a couple things on the pinouts are different... like the twin scroll system and one or two emissions solenoids
