Easy as hell to make with a few wires and some LEDs. And only good if you think your car is throwing codes.

granted that item comes in a neat little package, but overall, complete ripoff. There's a guide somewhere on how to make one, but i can't remember where. Try searching.

If it had an OEM style connectors and displays the error code as a number, it might be worth it.

I made my own TPS adjuster with a 2-pack of 12V lamps from Radio Shack and crimp on spade connectors. Cost ~$5. I haven't tried it with the engine check connector yet.

I wouldn't buy it. I made the exact same thing (sans the fancy plastic housing) with parts from Radio Shack for less than $6, and it works like a charm (both for the TPS and checking codes).

How to make the tester, and a list of codes: http://howto.globalvicinity.com/gv_w...i=39&co=1&vi=1

I like this part (no offence to any member if this is your item):

INFORMATION:
Tired of not having a check engine light?

Need to adjust your (TPS) throttle position sensor?

need help fixing your hard to start or idle problems?

Would you like to know what is wrong with your car before going to the garage?

Want to save $$$'s on garage prices?

If you answered yes to any of these Then this is the tool for you.
