ebay intake question

ebay intake question

i searched but could not find the answer. What do i do with the little hose that connects to the back of the air box when i replace it with a cone filter. i previouly had a fipk by k&n but they had a place to connect the hose on the adapter.

So you're saying you didn't buy the intake pipe with the nipple on it?

Use a "crankcase vent" filter from your local auto parts store. Any brand is fine since it just feeds the low-volume air pump.

Also, note that most of the off-brand Ebay filters are not made of good quality. I recommend getting a good name brand filter like K&N, Apexi, etc.

Make sure you build a proper box to seal off the filter from engine bay heat, or else you're probably making your car slower.
