Ebay Exhaust??

What do you guys think. How durable do you think it would be? Also if you look at the connection right in front of the muffler it looks like a bottle neck.

I am worried that the Stailess steel used wont withstand the high temperature, im not sure what grade of steel they use.

also check this out. Were the pipe connects to the muffler looks like a bottle neck.

I had one on my car, it's loud. It's actually pretty good quality though. No complaints here besides noise, probably a little louder than a Corksport turbo back. If you decide to use thing, you should consider switching the test pipe they give to a muffler/presilencer/high flow cat, or whatever to quiet things down.

my mate had the full system - and yes - its LOUD

it should come with a bung for the exhaust to silence it slightly ( yup - there it is i in the pic ! )

I am not concerned with how loud it is, i am concerned with the bottleneck as illustrated in the picture above. I just need to know if it is in fact a bottel neck. Your exhaust will only flow as freely as its biggest restriction.

Also, can anybody say for sure if this product is durable and quality.

I run that exact exhaust on my car for track use. I have had no problem with it holding up with multiple runs down the drag strip without much time to cool down. The welds on mine look real strong and the whoe system fits great under my car. I think it is the best quality you can get for the price. The only real complaints that I have are the noise (not an issue at the track, but you get some mean looks in the city) and the mounting bolts are a little tight (due to the 3" downpipe). All and all it is a pretty solid setup and a steal for the price.

thats an optical "Illusion", look more carefully, its a cone shape, tapered, i dont own the system, but thats what i see

look close and you can see the reflections on the cone shape off the floor.

sure does look like a restriction, but the cone shape would definitly cause an optical illusion. dunno bout anything else ssauto sells but ive heard that their turbos are complete crap.

i have seen thier duals it appears they only thing they can make right is a LOUD exhaust. if you like loud go for it build quality is good. but i wonder about is the bottle neck at the end of the downpipe....no one ever mentions that

Unless they changed the design, there is no restriction on the red arrow; must be an optical illusion. The system is a full 3 inch at that point (where the red arrow is pointing to).

Restrictions?

Look at the yellow circles, those are your restrictions!
(taps to 2.5 so that it can bolt to the main cat)

Yes the yellow circled areas definitely look restrictive. Personally I wouldn't buy anything from SSautoChrome. No one should. Then maybe the company will die and then eBay will no longer be flooded with their garbage turbos that either arrive defective or self destruct after a few miles.
