Easy Question: Time needed to remove LIM?

I know it sounds like a newbie question, but I need to remove my disfunctional (small intake leak causing idle problems) intake manifolds and replace them with the new Jspec ones I got. I've never taken the manifolds off while the engine was in the car (done it while it was out plenty of times). Anyone know about how long it will take? Cause I need to set aside some time, and don't wanna be stuck with my car up on jacks and missing parts when I need to go somewhere. I realize I'm going to need to remove the turbo to get to the 2 bolts in the middle of the LIM, which seems to me the most time consuming part.

Btw, I am very familiar with everything I need to do, so I won't be wasting time looking for what to remove.

Also, this engine is still in break in phase, with @ 300 miles on it. Is it likely that all the gaskets I need will still be removable from the old manifolds and in good enough condition to use again, or should I order some new ones? (They were replaced when I put the rebuild in)

Thanks

i'd say an hour to remove it. an hour to plug eveything in and get it back together.

scrub that...if you've never done it before, set aside a couple hours.

the turbo is the most time consuming, due to the limited amount of space you have to work with.

minimum amount of time, id say an hour and a half, if you're really good with your hands and have a good set of tools onhand. it CAN take the whole day if you let it get the best of you.

id try and tackle the turbo first if you can...as soon as that is out of the way, its pretty much cake from there.

ive done it so much now, i can pull the whole assembly in 30 minutes...and even then the turbo still sucks, just because of the dp.

i dont think you have to take the turbo off to get the lim off... if you have the heatshield on there, then maybe just that, but i dont htink you should have to take off the turbo just to get to the LIM bolts.

if you do end up having to take the turbo off, add an hour onto the disassembly and the reassembly.

yeah you MAY be able to get to the nuts w/o removing the turbo. in my experience its very hard to do without getting extremely frustrated.
