Pretty funny I took my turbo off today. from start to finish took a little less than a hour.
1:remove down pipe. 14mm
2: remove tid. screwdriver
3: drain coolant and remove radiator hoses. hose clamps
4:take off coolant feed line and drain. 10mm and hose clamp
5: remove heat shields. 10mm
6: unbolt oil return line. 12mm bolts
7:unscrew oil feed line. 17mm wrenchs.
8:unbolt manifold from the block 14mm
9:pull turbo and mani up towards the front of the car. This is the only thing i have a problem with everytime i have taken my turbo off.

what i posted should help you alot. pretty much just look at what needs to be disconnected before you remove the turbo. after you do it a couple times it becomes second nature.
p.s I am pretty drunk so if what i said doesn't make sense don't mind me.

oh and if you happen to have the ACV and other emissions bullshit than add that to the list of stuff you need to remove.
I used the Haynes manual when I took mine off about two days ago. Study the diagrams closely and it will make sense. You can get about half the stuff off from the top and the rest you will have to get under the car for (like the nuts for the turbo itself.

That's because you take the manifold and turbo off together. It's easier to take the the turbo out on it's own, given that it's smaller...

Another tip is to have a set of metric crows foot wrenches handy. That way you you can get extreme leverage on some of the stickier nuts, or even use an impact.

Yes, but you could use a download manager to do it all in one go.
You can download just the chapter(s) you need, but I highly recommend you download the whole lot and take the time to have a good look through it. There are lots of people here that waste their time (and others time) asking questions that could be answered much quicker by referring to the FSM. It's an awesome resource that can save you a lot of time and make jobs much easier.
