Wink E-Fan Installation Thread (BlackMagic 150R)

I just got my e-fan. I've done some research on Aaron's post regading the installationg of e-fans, and have done some additional research on my own. I just wanted to create this thread for searching purposes. I can only hope the search engine picks this up for future questions.

So here is the first pic,

I received it toda no longer than 20 minutes ago. Im at work right now, and wont be home this weekend. But, ill post periodically on this thread on the "step-by-step" install. Maybe I can get some pointers, or answer some users questions.

A couple of things I already noticed about the fan. Are things like the size, and weight quality (nice and heavy to some extent) and its really neat!

I went with this because of its small history with being one of the top selections for aftermarket fans on an RX7.

Recently I removed my waterpump & housing, with the t-stat housing aswell. I didnt get a chance to cover that (even though its been covered several times). So i want to make sure this one goes in the books.

Anyways, Ill come back sometime and begin updating this thread. For now, im awaiting more parts to arrive. See ya!

Lightbulb Pictures

All right so I have a clue on how this is going to go, but I may need a bit of a walkthrough with wires. I know how to cut them, and remove the sleeves. But I am wondering if this is the same case here. I'll post pictures of what I have, and what came with the box.

Im referring to this:
http://howto.globalvicinity.com/gv_w...i=42&co=1&vi=1

on the installation, and the Flex-A-Lite pdf aswell. I also got some more info on Aaron's site, but I cant read electrical diagrams very well, or the value of amps/volts/etc. Im not wire savvy. But i want to give this a shot only because it'll save me some bucks and I want the experience.

Here's what I got:

Overview

I have two (2) of the following ends

I believe these are Fuse Taps (I have 2 aswell)? I dont know how to use them:

"Thick" Red Wire [Below]

Thin "Red" Wire [Below]

Green Wire which I wont be using [Below]

Black Wire

And then it came with a Fuse holder that is pretty neat

I was looking at this and reading everywhere... there was no sign of what this is, but I was automatically asumming its the "Built-in thermostat" Which i dont know if it goes between the fins of the radiator or what?

So now that we got the items down, Lets see how I can put them together with the help of fellow members.

Here's my understanding, go ahead and laugh... its not the best WireDiagram

I would appreciate it, if I can receive some walkthough.

Those are wire splicers. As I call them. Connecting 2 or more wires together.

If you don't know how to wire, I would suggest reading up on how to do it online or have someone show you how to do it that knows what they are doing.

For some help on how to wire a fan, click on the link in my sig.

Yes, that prode gets put into the fins of the radiator. I would try to find rubber grommets or orings that fit snuggly around that probe and before you install the probe, put on one o-ring and then after you put the probe into the fins, put the other o-ring on the front of the probe coming through the front of the rad, and snug them up so the probe can't fall out.
