e-brake light during drift
e-brake light during drift
Hey people,
since last week, my red brakelight always lights up during a drift, or if simply the rear tires are going to lose grip. but only during corners and curves! if i spin the tires on the streightaway, the light doesnt show up.
is something broken? i don't understand that

ah i see, thx for the advise, im going to check the fluid lvl in a few hours
2 weeks ago as i checked it, it was between MAX and MIN. mark
during high Gs i have experienced the checkoil light/buzzer also.. checked the oil lvl and its just a little bit under the full mark.. :| is the oil swapping that hard to a corner of the oilpan, that the buzzer is going on?

overfill your oil level SLIGHTLY to prevent that from hapening. It happens to me autocrossing sometimes. the coolant buzzer has a delay, the oil buzzer does not.
your brake fluid is low also! fill it to the MAX mark.

While drifting, the oil level light is prone to go on during left hand drifts because the oil tends to pool on the right side of the pan, away from the level sender. I have had this problem on numerous occasions, but I just keep tabs on the pressure. The optimum way to correct this is to get a baffled oil pan.
