Dying and repairing leather seats is SD CA
After two years of sitting in my garage on Jackstands, I'm finally going to start on the 90 T2 restoration. I have a set of Leather seats that are blue and would like to change them to black. I'm not sure where the blue seats came from, but the car was stock with black ones. Does anyone know of an upholstery shop near San Diego that can die them and repair a little wear in them?

What I'd do is simply buy some new leather covers off EBay. I replaced mine with a set of these, and I now have that new car fresh leather smell. Love it.
Really not that difficult of a do it yourself job. I've done it a number of times. Just need to be handy with a pair of big wire cutters to cut out the old hog rings, and install with new hog rings and a crimpter you can get at Harbor Freight.
