Dumb newbie connector question (in vicinity of TPS)

Please bear with a newbie...I've done a search and gone through pages, but haven't found an answer. I noticed a single green/black wire with a black female connector in the same general vicinity of the TPS. Is this supposed to connect to something? I can't seem to find a corresponding male connector anywhere within range. Thanks.

It could connect to the Intake temp sensor on the TB Inlet. Wait is it a turbo?

Green/Black single wire with black connector equals the connector for the auxillary water temp sensor on the thermostat housing. Only cars with the elec auxillary fan have the sensor. No sensor. No worry. String tie to the harness and forget about it.
