Dual N1 question!

Hey..

I ordered the Dual N1 from this company, digitalracer.com, about 3 months ago. Only a single side (right) came though, and so I'm STILL waiting for the other half to come. They keep stalling.

Now, in this picture, it shows the N1s welded together... which is also what someone told me they look like...

however, i was under the impression the n1 was supposed to come looking like this:

which is right?

I just finished putting a set of N1 duals on my 88 gxl n/a this weekend and I can tell you the're not welded together. Right after the pre silencer , or cat for those less fortunate, is a bolted on Y(splitter pipe), about a foot long, then each pipe r +l bolt to this. Really sounds great. I had to put the baffles in mine or it would be tickets for sure. Small town, cops with small town minds.
Set up really looks great too. First driven to work today and many comments abouts exhaust--all good !! Hope this helps

A'PEXi N1 Dual Exhaust - RX-7 (1 muffler per side/1 tip per side) [1986-1991]

Meaning, it looks like your second pic

The pic on their site is generic, and i think that specific one is for the third gen rx7

maybe you bought the single N1 instead of the duals....

the top pic is not for an rx7. it might be for another car.

rx7 has 2 types. single and dual. botom pic is dual. single is only one side.

they actually only sent me one of the n1s from the bottom pic, which i got tired of looking at and put on the car.

i just wasnt sure if they thought that top pic was what a dual n1 setup looked like, because they seemed confused on what they needed to send me
