Droped the motor in but i think its not right!! please help

Hi, i droped my motor in today and have it sitting on the mounts. But it looks wrong to me. as i never took the motor out im very unsure. So the motors siting on the mounts correctly but what i want to know is. Does the eceentric shaft pully sit in the centre of the car,(Mine seems to be to the right about a inch). Will this make any difference or do i just jack it up an try and reposition it again on the mounts. i noticed they are sloted, any advice??

Yea, the motor sits akwardly in these cars. If it is securely bolted to the mounts, and the mounts are securely bolted to the frame, then you shouldn't have any issues. Enjoy!

As tex said, the motor does sit slightly at an angle. This is due to the fact that the 13B just barely fits in the engine bay.

When you say that are you talking about a left hand drive or a right hand drive? Im in New Zealand so mines a right hand drive, my crank bolt faces the passenger head light slightly

On a left hand drive car it will face towards the driver side.
On a right hand drive car it will face towards the passenger.

I always wondered why my engine had a gangster lean. I just thought I had a retarded chassis or someone dropped the motor on the subframe bending it. Good to know all my worries are settled.

...The oil pan IS suppose to be pointing toward the hood isnt it?
