Driveshaft question, no time to search sorry!

I have a 1989-1990 n/a manual tranny I picked up recently, put in new clutch, and had vibrations issues. Well tore down today, and before I got to the transmission, the driveshaft u-bolts were shot. Found out that I can't buy the joints, but whole unit. Im going to go to a pick and pull, and wondering if 86-91 driveshaft is the same, turbo or not?

Sorry guys, I have to go soon this is my new daily driver. I appreciate the help.

turbo and na's are different i'm pretty sure. but i think the s4 and s5 driveshafts are the same, but don't hold me to it. I know there's someone on here who would know for sure.

Turbo and NA driveshafts are different.

S4 and S5 are interchangeable.

I'll UPS you an S5 NA driveshaft tomorrow for $100 shipped. Zero play in the joints. Removed from my car when I did a drivetrain swap.

PM me.

Guys, thanks a lot for the help. My son was on the phone typing info while I was at the parts yard. Got real lucky and found one. Only difference I see is the differential mount on 86 is rounder, and the one I have is more u-shaped. Also, the one I got today actually has a welded on heat shield on the yolk end. The splines on the one I got extend further out than the old one. Not a problem right, seems it would be better.

Sorry for posting again, but just took her for a test drive, holy crap. No vibration, smooth shifting, sweet. I think I might have damaged the output shaft seal though. 10 bucks, no biggie, and I forget to tell you all. I got the driveline, had a date of 02-02-06 on it. No ****. And the price, 17.99 plus 3.99 core, and 3.49 recycle crap. about thirty buck for a brand new drive line and joints Live is good.

Thanks again all, and chaos, I was almost ready to buy it . Thanks for the offer man.
