driveshaft installation

hey guys wussup quick question.. im removing my old driveshaft and installing one i baught from fuego right now. any 1 kno if i have to blance it right or any thing?? like do i have to put it in a certain position or just put it on?? thanx

If the driveshaft that its on your still has the balance washers try to put them in the same position as they are right now if not I dont think there is anyproblem I didnt have those washers I just installed and it worked fine

NOT. The weights on the old shaft are for that shaft. Put the new in and take it for a drive. If you get a vibration. unbolt the rear of the shaft and turn it 1/4 or 1/2 turn, bolt it back up and test drive again. Each shaft has been balanced individually and swapping weights from one to the other is like adding weights to your wheels and hoping you get them balanced, without the aid of a balancer.

What do you guys think of Mazdatrix's driveshafts? I need to replace mine, the u joints are going out and vibrates the car like no one's business at high speeds.

It's usually cheaper to find a local driveshaft shop that knows how to switch in new, greaseable u-joints.
